About This Blog

This is where I post my original works - stories, poems, proses, essays, etcetera. I own everything that's written here. If you want to post my works somewhere, please give credit to me.

Original stories are stories whose characters came from my mind. I own the character for those posts that have this tag.

Fan fic are my stories which stars my favorite Asian stars/anime characters/drama characters. I only own the stories, but not the characters (I do wish I own Calvin Chen and the rest of Fahrenheit... lol)

Roses are my short proses/stories. it may be written in first person's view or thrid person's view. It's just a narrative prose.

One-shots are my series of stories that are one chapter long. These are also tag as roses.

Actually, I was planning to make 25 short stories before my 25th birthday (which have already passed) and unfortunately, I wasn't too successful in making 25 short stories. I was panning to call it 25 roses, hence the tag roses here in my blog.

Anyways, if you want to read just one story, click on the title below and then start reading from below.

Happy Reading!

P.S.

I'm trying to figure out how I could highlight the entries here and copy, but I am not that knowledgaeble with HTML. So, while I'm trying to figure things out, if anyone wanted a soft copy of the stories here for reading purposes only, you can shoot me an email at tamed_soul@hotmail.com

99 Love Notes - Prologue

Prologue – His Song, Her Heart

She sat alone in the music room, staring at the ivory keys of the piano. As she looked up, she saw the music sheet, half-way filled with notes. It was her composition. It was her song. It was the song that she composed for him. For all those times that he was away, she tried to finish this song, but she couldn't find the right notes, the right melody how she truly felt for him. Now that he's out of life, she became more unsure if she could finish his song.

She reached for the piano keys, and pressed it. A loud sound was heard all over the room. He closed her eyes, and let a tear fell from her eyes. “Danson...” she whispered. She pressed another key on the piano, and before she knew it, she was playing the song she have composed for her. It used to have a happy melody, but now, it was all but a lonely tune. It was what's inside her heart – the loneliness she is feeling after finding out that he have closed his heart on her. It was her fault that the man she loved left her. If only she's strong enough to resist temptation. If only she have treasured his trust. If only she wasn't a thousand miles away from him...

Finally, the song ended. It ended in the same way that their story ended. It ended too fast, it ended before she knew it. After playing her last note, the tears couldn't help but cascade from her eyes. “I'm sorry...” she whispered. She looked up, and on top of the piano, she saw a picture of her and Danson during his last visit in Vienna. They were smiling in that picture, happy because they have each other. But now, that happiness have ended. Danson is gone, and she knows he will never come back in her life... especially now that he have married the woman he have first loved...

--

She stared outside the window as the soft snow falls outside. Everything outside is white, covered in that soft snow. She hugged herself, trying her best to keep herself warm. Though there was a fireplace inside her room, nothing could make her feel warm than his hug. Then, it occurred to her. Two years ago, on this very day, he met Chun. He was a goofy man who made her smile with his funny antics. He was annoying at first, but slowly, she found herself being drawn to him. They were the best of friends. She knew everything about him. She knew how he changes girlfriend as fast as he could change his underwear. She knew how he pretended to be gay just to be close to a girl who couldn't love her. She knew how his heart was broken before. She knew how badly he wanted to have his own happy ending, just like his friends Kit and Calvin. She knew what's inside his heart, and that he love her...

But she pushed him away.

She turned her back from the window, and closed hey eyes. She could still remember that day Chun confessed to her that he loves her. But, she could not accept his love. Because like the other guys, he knows that if he found out about her past, he would soon disappear in a flash. And she was right. After she told him everything about his painful past, the next day, he flew back to Taiwan.

And she was a fool to believe that Chun is unlike the other guys who courted her...

“Chun...” she whispered. She wondered, why does he have to leave her like that. She chose to be honest to him, that's why she decided to tell him everything. She knows that if she keeps it to herself, he would eventually find out and he would be mad at her. She wouldn't want that to happen. Losing Chun would hurt her most.

Especially now that she have learned to love him.
