99 Paper Cranes - Forewords

Three girls,

A boy,

and 99 paper cranes.

Calvin was the perfect guy. He is a straight A student, an athlete, and the school's prince charming. All the girls like him, but he only have eyes on one girl. One day, someone mysteriously leaves paper cranes on his locker. With the paper crane is a note of love and encouragement for him. Slowly, he found himself falling in love with this girl. He doesn't know who this girl is, but he is destined to find out who she is. Will he be able to accept who she is?

Trixie was the snotty princess of the school. She is a spoiled brat who always gets what she wants. She only have eyes on Calvin, and would do every means to get him, even if it means lying to him. Will she be able to get what she wants this time?

Hannah is a shy and nerdy girl. She have a huge crush on Calvin since day one. She wanted so badly to tell him how she feels before she leaves, but is afraid that she will get rejected by him. Is she the one Calvin is looking for?

Joy is a sweet and dainty girl, whom everyone adores. Calvin have loved her ever since, but he could not find the courage to tell her how he feels. Will he give him a chance to be with her?

A past,

And a secret which must not be revealed.

Kit is Calvin's best friend since childhood. She's always by his side, and even helps him find his paper crane girl. She keeps a secret, which she knows when Calvin finds out, would ruin their friendship. Will she find the courage to tell him the truth?

Danson is Calvin's junior, and have secretly loved Kit. He knew about Kit's secret, and swore to protect it. How long will he suffer by protecting her?

Jiro have been dating Joy for almost a year, but he could never forget the girl who saved him before. What would he do if he found that that girl and his rival's best friend are one and the same?

“I like you! I like you since I first you! I have readied myself for your rejection, but I never thought it would hurt this much!”

“Everyone likes you, Calvin. Everyone does. It's not that hard to fall for someone like you, you don't need to try harder...”

“You don't have to hurt for me. I didn't ask you to...”

“There was this girl whom I fallen in love with... the moment I opened my eyes, I thought I saw an angel... she was my angel...”

“You never saw her again?”

“I'm staring at her right now...”

“Thank you for helping me... but... why can't you tell -”

“Don't ever say that. Whatever it is you found out, keep it to yourself.”

“But why? You'll suffer as much as I do if you don't -”

“It's better that way. I made a promise to him and I'm keeping it...”
