About This Blog

This is where I post my original works - stories, poems, proses, essays, etcetera. I own everything that's written here. If you want to post my works somewhere, please give credit to me.

Original stories are stories whose characters came from my mind. I own the character for those posts that have this tag.

Fan fic are my stories which stars my favorite Asian stars/anime characters/drama characters. I only own the stories, but not the characters (I do wish I own Calvin Chen and the rest of Fahrenheit... lol)

Roses are my short proses/stories. it may be written in first person's view or thrid person's view. It's just a narrative prose.

One-shots are my series of stories that are one chapter long. These are also tag as roses.

Actually, I was planning to make 25 short stories before my 25th birthday (which have already passed) and unfortunately, I wasn't too successful in making 25 short stories. I was panning to call it 25 roses, hence the tag roses here in my blog.

Anyways, if you want to read just one story, click on the title below and then start reading from below.

Happy Reading!

P.S.

I'm trying to figure out how I could highlight the entries here and copy, but I am not that knowledgaeble with HTML. So, while I'm trying to figure things out, if anyone wanted a soft copy of the stories here for reading purposes only, you can shoot me an email at tamed_soul@hotmail.com

Always and Forever - Chapter 2

Chapter Two: One Night Stand (R)

“So, you're saying that your dad finally came home, and he brought a new wife, which is way older than his past girlfriends, and a stepdaughter?” Charlene asked as she took her drink from the table. Ella nodded her head. It was afternoon, and the two met up at their favorite cafe. “God, I hate that woman...” Ella muttered. “She was like trying to replace my mom in our house. As if! She could never ever replace my mom. She have been all over the house, cleaning, doing laundry, cooking... she always tails on me, asking me if there's anything I want or anything she could do for me. Puh-leaze. I know she's only my dad's family. She doesn't have to go to that extent to please my dad.” she said as she took her drink. “Wow, that woman really is weird.” Charlene commented. Ella nodded her head in agreement. “And her daughter, gosh, she's such a nerd! Imagine, she've been following me around as if she's a lost puppy. She would constantly barge into my room and say 'Jie jie! Can I hang out with you?''. It freaks me out!” Ella said. Charlene laughed at her story. She know her friend is a little culture shocked with her new step mom and step sister. “Do you think she's like the other girls Uncle Robin brought home before?” Charlene said. Ella nodded her head. “She's only after our money, I know that. Give it a month or so, dad will surely divorce her. You know how easily gets bored with his wifeys.” Ella said. “Good thing you can stand being with them. I mean, I know you... if there's a new Mrs. Chen at the Chen household, you would hide yourself in your secret place, and not show up your pretty face for a week or so.” Charlene said.

Ella paused, and looked at her. Someone, Charlene got a point. It has been a week since her dad have married Melinda, and since she met her, she haven't been to her secret place. “You know what... you're right...” she said. Charlene smiled at her, and leaned over the table. “Oooh... I think you will get along with your new step mom this time. What do you think?” she said. Ella rolled her eyes at her. “No. I won't. And I don't want to.” she said firmly. Charlene raised up her hands as she leaned to her chair. “Fine. I got it. You will not fall for the trap of that gold-digging bitch. Am I right?” she said. Ella nodded her head. Charlene sighed as she looked away from Ella. Somehow, she felt sorry for her best friend. She knew her life story, and her life as Robin Chen's daughter have been difficult. Aside from that, Ella grew up without someone to guide her. Her mom died when she was 12, and when her mom died, Robin Chen have been neglecting her. She wouldn't blame Ella if she rebels against her dad.

“By the way...” Charlene said. “It's confirmed.” Ella looked at her, surprised at what she said. “As in?” she asked. Charlene nodded her head. “Damn it! Why would your dad set you up to be married to some random stranger?” Ella said. Charlene could only sigh. “I don't know. You know what my dad always says... we're a traditional Chinese family... we have to follow traditions, blah blah blah. So I guess, I have no other choice but to marry this guy.” she said. Ella leaned to her chair, and let out a playful smile. “So, who's the lucky bastard?” she asked. Charlene shrugged her shoulder. “I forgot... someone named Michael He? Something like that.” she said. Ella scratched her chin as she thinks. “Hmmm... sounds like a dorky businessman to me. You know, the kind of guy who wears thick eye glasses and wears their pants up their waistline?” she said. She laughed as she describe her thoughts to her best friend. Charlene could only roll her eyes at him. “Puh-leaze, stop it...” she said. “So, when are you going to meet the groom?”
“Dad said he have to settle some things for their business, then they'll meet us to set the wedding date.”
“So, if this guy isn't your type, you'll be the run away bride?”
“There's this thing called divorce, right?”

Ella sighed again, and smiled. “Good thing daddy dearest didn't set me up to marry someone. At least I still have the freedom to chose who I want to spend the rest of my life with...” she said. Charlene raised an eyebrow at her. “Ella Chen wants to settle down someday?” she asked in a skeptical tone. Ella shrugged her shoulder. “Why not? I mean, it's every woman's dream to walk down the aisle in a long white gown...”
“May I remind you that you lost your virginity when you were 16? And you lost it to none other than the gay guy, Wu Chun? You definitely can't wear white.”
Ella gave her best friend a glare as she laughed at her. “Fine.” she said. “But still...” she said in a low voice. She looked away from Charlene, and stared at a happy family that she saw across the street. “Ella Chen have a romantic side? Aren't you a playgirl? You never even had a serious relationship in your entire life! You change men faster that you can change your clothes. Your heart is made of cold hard ice, and I would give credit to the man who would be able to melt your heart.” Charlene said. Then, Ella looked at her. Although she looked brave, Charlene could see the sadness in her eyes. “Ella Chen will never fall in love.” she said in a firm tone. Charlene sighed and shook her head. “Who knows, maybe later you will fall in love.” she said.

“There's our man!” Mike shouted as soon as they saw Calvin walking inside the cafe. “Hey, guys!” Calvin said. “Man, you're looking good!” Hiro said. Calvin just smiled at them. “Glad to see you guys again.” he said. Calvin nodded his head, and then took his seat in between his two friends. “So, how's it going?” he asked. “Well, Mike here will get married soon.” Hiro said. Calvin looked at Mike with disbelief. Of all his friends, he never expected Mike to get married first. “You are?” he asked. Mike sighed, and nodded his head. “As if I have a choice?” he said. “So, you got set up to marry this girl?” Calvin asked. Mike nodded his head. “As if I have a choice. You know my dad, he's a very traditional man...” he said. Both Hiro and Calvin laughed at him. Calvin put his hand on Mike's shoulder, and smiled at him. “Man, all I can say for you is... condolence to your being a bachelor.” he said. Mike laughed at him, and shook his head. “So, who's the unfortunate bride?” he asked. “Charlene Choi. I don't know who the hell she is, but from what I heard, she's the daughter of my dad's high school friend” Mike said.

Hiro nudged Calvin, and Calvin looked at him. “How about you, Calvin? Have you seen the girl who will replace Selina in your heart?” Hiro asked. Calvin lowered his head, and smiled faintly. He shook his head. “No one can ever replace her in my heart.” he said. “We all thought you will be the first one who'll get married. After all, you and Selina have been dating since you were babies right?” Mike said. Hiro nodded his head in agreement. “it's just too bad that Selina died before you could even propose to her...” Hiro said. Mike looked at Calvin, and he could see the smile slowly disappearing from his face upon hearing Selina's name. He know his friend has still not gotten over his girlfriend's death. Mike glared at Hiro, and kicked his feet under the table. “Aww...” Hiro said, flinching in pain. “Why did you have to bring that up?” Mike hissed at him. Calvin looked at Mike, and smiled at him. “It's OK, Mike. It's been a long time...” he said. “Hey, I have an idea. Why don't we set you up for a date?” Hiro said. Calvin gave him a confused look. “Date?” he asked. Hiro nodded his head. “It's about time for you to go out and meet other girls.” Hiro said. “It's a good idea, Calvin.” Mike said. He put his arm around him, and smiled at his friend. “And I know someone who is exactly your type.”

--

“I'll go get the car. Wait for me here.” Charlene said to Ella as they walked outside the cafe. Ella stood by the sidewalk, as she waited for Charlene. Just then, her phone rang. She took it from her bag, and answered it. “Hello?” she said. “Hey, Ella dear. Chunnie here.”
“Oh, hey Chunnie. What's up?”
“Hey, are you free later?”
“Yeah, why?”
“Let's meet up at the club later. Make sure to bring Charlene with you.”
“Sure. Anything wrong?”
“Oh, nothing... it's just that there's these hot guys that I want the two of you to meet...”

Ella listened to Chun as he talked on the phone. Then, she saw Charlene's car parked at the other side of the street. She took a step to cross the street, but she missed that step, making her lose her balance. Meanwhile, Calvin just got out of the cafe with his friends. As he walked to cross the street, he saw Ella miss her step. He immediately rushed to help her. Before Ella could fall on her back, Calvin was able to catch her. “Are you OK?” he asked. Ella looked up at him, and upon seeing him, she felt everything went slow motion. She couldn't help but stare into his almond eyes. It seems that she was lost in those black orbs. She could hear her own heart beating faster, especially when he gave her that warm smile. “I... I'm OK...” she stuttered. Calvin helped Ella to stand up. “Be careful next time.” he said. Ella watched him as he leaves. “Am I going to see you again?” she thought. She felt a little pain in her heart at the thought that this would their first and last meeting. She placed her hand on her chest, hoping that by doing so, it would calm down her beating heart.

“Ella Chen! I've only been gone for a few minutes, and you went flirting with some random stranger!” she heard Charlene shout at her. Ella looked at him, and saw the amusement on her friend's face. “He's such a cutie, I must say...” Charlene said as she looked at the guy. Ella only smirked at her. “Back off, sister...” she said. She folded her arms, and stared at his back. “He's going to be mine...”

--

Charlene and Ella entered the club. As usual, all eyes are on them. Ella smiled to herself, as she could tell that all men were staring at her again. That night, she was wearing a green mini tube dress, while Charlene was wearing a black tank top and white miniskirt. “Ella Chen, the head turner...” Charlene teased. Ella looked at her, and nudged her. “Aiyo... don't tease me...” she said. “I wonder who would be the lucky bastard who will get laid with you tonight?” Charlene asked as they walked towards their reserved table. “Not tonight...” she answered. “As if you could resist those cuties!” Charlene said. Ella simply rolled her eyes at her friend. They settled to their table, and soon after, Chun came with three other guys. “Hey, girls!” Chun called them. The two looked at his way, and smiled at him. “Hey, Chunnie!” she said. He kissed the two girls on the cheek, and then introduce his company to them. “By the way, girls, I want you to meet your dates. This is Jiro, this is Danson, and of course, this is Arron, my date.” he said. Ella and Charlene smiled at the two guys. “So, does that mean we don't get to choose Arron as our date tonight?” Ella teased her friend. Chun raised an eyebrow at her, and gave her death glare. Ella laughed at his reaction. She could understand the message he is trying to tell her, and that is to back off from his boyfriend.

“So, since I don't get to choose Arron...” Ella turned to Danson, who was sitting beside her. “Hi, I'm Ella.” she said, extending her hand to him. Danson gave him a seductive smile as he took his hand. “I'm Danson. Nice meeting you...” he said. Then, he kissed the back of his hand. She was touched by what he did. She looked at her friends, and smiled at them. “That's so nice of you, Danson...” she cooed. Danson laughed at her, and then gave her a wink. Ella took her wine from the table, and then sipped it. “The way you drink makes you look so sexy...” Danson said in a husky tone. Ella looked at her, and smiled. “Thank you. And because of your compliment, I'm going to give you your prize.” she said. Then, she leaned over him, and gave him a passionate kiss on the lips. She could hear her friends shouting and cheering for them. Ella broke their kiss, and then gave her friends a contented smile. “That was awesome.” she said to Danson. Danson just smiled at her. “So...” he said as he moved closer to her. “Want to dance? Show me your sexy moves...” he said huskily. “Sure.” Ella said. The two stood up, and then went to the dance floor.

--

Calvin entered the club, and the first thing he did is to look for Mike and Hiro. “Calvin! Here!” he heard someone said. He looked at the bar, and saw Mike and Hiro with some girls. He waved at them, and then walked towards the bar. He gave high five to his friends, and then he sat beside Hiro. “By the way...” Mike said. “This is Rainie, my date, that's Hebe, Hiro's date, and this is Sunnie, your date tonight.” Mike said, pointing to the girl next to him. Calvin gave Sunnie a warm smile, and then shook her hand. “Nice meeting you, Sunnie...” he said. “Nice meeting you too, Calvin.” Sunnie said, smiling at him. Calvin glanced at his friends, and they seem to be enjoying the company of the two girls. “So, can I offer you a drink?” he asked. Sunnie smiled and nodded his head. He leaned on the counter, and then called the waiter to order Sunnie's drink. Meanwhile, while waiting for their drinks, Sunnie was watching at the dance floor. At one corner, she saw a familiar figure.

After a while, their order came. Calvin handed Sunnie her drink, but noticed that she was staring at someone at the dance floor. “Sunnie?” he called. Sunnie didn't answer him. He looked at the direction that she was looking at, and from there, he saw a familiar girl, dancing with another guy. He paused, and stared into the girl's smiling face. She seemed familiar to him. At that moment, he felt his heart began to race, beating faster with his every gaze at her. “Danson?” he heard Sunnie said. Calvin looked at Sunnie, and before he knew it, she was storming towards the dance floor. “Sunnie! Wait!” Calvin said as he followed her.

--

As the music changed, Ella and Danson got closer as they danced to the new beat. They were too caught up with each other, that Ella didn't notice someone was tapping her. As she turned around, she saw a girl angrily looking at her. “Bitch!” the girl said. Ella stopped, and raised an eyebrow at her. “What?” she asked. Danson turned around, his eyes widened as he saw the girl who was almost fighting with Ella. It's his ex-girlfriend, Sunnie. “Sunnie!” he said. Sunnie folded her arms, and then glared at him. “You son of a bitch! We only broke up yesterday, and you're flirting with this slut here!” Sunnie shouted at him. Then, she turned to Ella and gave her a death glare. “And you...” she said, pointing at him. “How dare you flirt with my boyfriend?!” Ella raised an eyebrow at her. She put his hand on her waist, and walked up to her. There's no way she's going to let this girl ruin her night. “Look, bitch. It was your sweet boyfriend who came up to me and flirted around, OK?” she snapped at her. Sunnie smirked at her, and then looked at her from head to foot. “Oh really now? I know your type. You're a boyfriend stealer...”
“Well then, you are the insecure girlfriend who couldn't stand seeing her little boyfriend playing around with a hot girl like me.”
“You bitch!”
“Yes, I'm a bitch. That's why your boyfriend likes me.”

Danson shook his head as he watched the two girls having their word war. “Sunnie!” he said, walking up to her. As Sunnie raised up her hand to slap Ella, Calvin came, and stopped her. “Sunnie...” Calvin said, looking at her. Danson looked Calvin a confused look, then glared at Danson. “OK, what is this?” he asked angrily at her. “We just broke up yesterday, and you're seeing someone else?” he shouted at her. Calvin stepped back upon seeing him burst out. “Man, you don't understand...” he said. Danson glared at him. “What? You're dating Sunnie now?” he asked. Then, he looked at Sunnie. “Is he the reason why you broke up with me, huh?” he asked again. Sunnie looked at Danson and rolled hey eyes at him. “It's not what you think!” she said defensively. Danson shook his head in dismay. “You are the one who walked on us, telling my date she is a bitch for flirting with me, when you go around dating other guys when we only broke up yesterday!” Danson shouted at her. Ella watched the two couple in confusion. Just watching them have this argument makes her head ache. “Wait!” Ella said, stepping in between the two. “Look, I didn't know what happened, but you guys are just ruining my perfect night.” she said. Then, she looked at Sunnie and took her head. She took Danson's hand, and placed it on Sunnie's hand. “Now you're back together, OK? If there's anything that you guys have to talk, can you talk about it quietly outside this club?” she said. Calvin looked at Ella, and found her annoyed look somewhat amusing. He smiled secretly to himself as he watched her trying to settle things between Sunnie and Danson. “I think the lady here is right. We are all here to have fun. Whatever your issue is, I think you guys should talk about it and settle it peacefully.” he said. Danson sighed as he nodded his head. Then, he looked at Sunnie, and held her by her arm. “Let's talk about this.” he said to her. Then, he pulled her away from the dance floor.

Ella and Calvin watched as the two bickering couple leaves. Calvin laughed, and shook his head. “Well, I guess those two didn't have a proper closure when they broke up.” he said. Ella folded her arms, and nodded her head. Then, she looked at her. Calvin looked at her as well, and then smiled. As Calvin smiled at her, she suddenly realized that he was the guy who helped her outside the cafe a while ago. “Did... did we met?” she asked. Calvin shrugged his shoulder. “I think we did... outside the cafe?” she said. “Oh, yeah... I remember. You were the girl...” he said. Ella laughed as she remembered that embarrassing situation that lead to their first meeting. “I wasn't able to thank you a while ago... by the way, I'm Ella.” she said, extending her hand. “I'm Calvin.” he said, shaking Ella's hand. “Sorry about your date....” he said. Ella smiled, and shook her head. “It's OK. I wasn't anyone's fault. Who would've thought that your date and my date are ex lovers.” she said. Calvin laughed at what she said. She stared at his face for a long time. As she looked into his eyes, she felt herself wanting to melt. There was something in the way he looked at her that made her feel giddy inside. “Well, since you don't have a date and I don't have a date, would you like to get together and have a few drinks at the bar?” Calvin offered. Ella smiled and nodded her head. “Sure. And since I haven't thanked you for helping me a while ago, it's on my tab.” she said. “I won't turn your offer down.” he said. Ella just laughed at him. Then, Calvin took her hand, and pulled her out of the dance floor. As their fingers touched, she felt a bolt of electricity running down her veins. “What is this?” she thought. “I can't be in love with him, right?”

--

Charlene got out of the powder, and as she turned around, she bumped into someone. Unfortunately, that someone was holding a beer in his hand, and the beer got spilled on her dress. “What the -” Charlene said, looking at her wet dress. Then, she looked up at the guy. “That's what you get for not eying your way!” the guy said arrogantly. Charlene could not believe the guy standing in front of her. He spilled his drink on her outfit, and he was the one who got angry because of it. “Have your parents taught you to say sorry?” she snapped at him. “It wasn't my fault for being stupid!”
“Who are you calling stupid?!”
“You.”
Charlene shook her head in disbelief. She never thought such an arrogant guy could live in this world. “And you owe me a drink...” she heard him say. Charlene looked at him, and laughed at him. Then, she folded her arms, and smirked at him. “That's the lamest pickup line I've heard. And no, I don't date arrogant guys without manners.” she snapped at him. She stomped on his feet before going on his way. As she walked away, she heard the guy flinch in pain. “Serves you right....” she thought as she leaves him.

“Mike! Where have you been?” Hiro asked as soon as he saw Mike by the powder room. He saw him flinching in pain, and looking at a girl angrily. “That stupid girl!” he muttered. Hiro looked at the girl's direction, and then smiled at his friend. “She's a very pretty girl, all right.” Hiro said. Mike looked up at him, and rolled his eyes. “Pretty but stupid girl!” he said.

--

“So, what do you do?” Ella said as she sipped her drink. “Me?” Calvin asked. Ella nodded her head. “I'm still on vacation. I just got back from Canada...” Calvin said. “Then, let me rephrase the question. What will you be doing?” she asked. Calvin laughed at her, then took a sip from his drink. “I'm a businessman. Economics is my major. Got my doctor's degree in Business Administration.” he said. “Whoa! I can't believe you could be that smart....” she said. Calvin laughed again, then he shook his head. “I'm not smart. You can say I'm a nerd. How about you, what do you do?” he asked. Ella gulped down her drink before answering his question. “I'm a bum. A party girl. That's what I do for a living.” she said. Calvin laughed at her answer. He took the bottle of wine, and poured its contents on his glass. “Seriously...” he said. “That's what I do. I'm a party girl who loves to spend her daddy's hard earn money. I can tell you got turned off with me, am I right?” she said. Calvin smiled at her, and shook his head. “Actually, I think your job is the easiest job in the world, and I envy you for that.” Calvin said. Ella raised an eyebrow at him. “Oh really?” she said. Calvin looked at her, and nodded his head. “If I could live my life partying all day, I would do that.” he said.

Ella leaned over him, and then smiled at him. Calvin could sense that there was something evil going on in her mind, and this made him confused. “What?” he asked in a confuse tone. “Tell me, you are a nerd who didn't get to enjoy life to the fullest, am I right?” she asked. Calvin let out a faint laugh, and nodded her head. “You can say that...”
“You seem to be too serious with your life.”
“Right.”
“And your best friends are those heavy books from the library...”
“Not really, but yes.”
“You're the goody-two-shoe guy who would rather study than go out and party?”
“When I'm still a student...”
Ella smiled at him again. “I knew it. You have a very boring life.” she said. Calvin laughed at her again before drinking down his wine. “If you hang out with me, then I assure you you'll get to party wild. As in really wild.” she said. “Well, I do have friends who party like you do. Now that I'm not studying anymore, I think I'm going to hang out with them all the time.” he said. “Then, thank heavens you have those kind of friends. You really should hang out with them. You know the saying, all work and no play makes Calvin a dull little boy.” she said. Calvin laughed at what she said. He pured himself another glass of wine, the gulped it down. Ella watched him as he took the last drop of his wine. “Are you sure you can handle it?” she asked. Calvin looked at her, and smiled. “I know when I can take more alcohol or not.” he said. “So, you're not yet drunk?” she asked. Calvin shook his head. Ella just gave him a smirk. “Are you sure?” she asked again. Calvin nodded his head. “I am sure. Don't worry. I still can stand, and walk.” he said. He stood up from his sit to prove to Ella that he's not yet drunk. As he took a step, he felt dizzy, making him almost fall on the floor. Good thing Ella was alert, and was able to catch him. “I think you drunk too much.” she said. Calvin smiled at her. “This is nothing...” he said.

“I think you should get some rest...” she said. “But I don't want to go home yet. I'm just starting to have fun!” he said, giving her puppy eyes. Ella simply laughed at his facial expression. “So, little Calvin wants to play?” she asked. Calvin nodded his head. “Little Calvin wants to play and party hard.” he said. Ella pulled him close to her, and nuzzle her cheek on his. The warmth of Ella's skin against his is enough to send shivers through his spine. “Then, why don't we play...” Ella whispered in his ear. Calvin looked at her, and saw the playful smile on her lips.

--

As he opened the door of the hotel room, Calvin pulled Ella closer to him, and stared into her lovely face. He closed the door behind him, then he leaned down on her. Their lips touched, and he felt Ella pushed her tongue inside his mouth. His hand cupped her cheek as he kissed her with passion.
Then, it slid to her neck, then down to her bare back. Ella gasped as he felt his warmth touch on her bare skin. She felt his hand began to unzip her dress. His hand roamed all throughout her back as he kissed her hungrily. Calvin broke their kiss, and then stared at her again. Ella slowly opened her eyes, and saw something in Calvin's eyes that he have never seen in those men she went to bed with. It wasn't filled with lust, but she could see it filled with too much passion. And love.

“You're so beautiful...” he whispered to her. Then, he began to kiss her lips again. Her hand slid down to his chest, then she began to unbutton his shirt. Calvin's lips trailed down to her neck. As he planted small kisses on her neck, she moaned with pleasure. She felt his dress slipped down from her body, and she was naked before his very eyes. She began to take off his shirt, and let her hand roam through his chest. She looked up at him, and began to kiss his lips again. She felt him carrying her, then before she knew it, she was lying on the bed, and he is on top of him. Calvin looked closely at her nakedness, adoring every inch of her. Ella reached up to him, and caressed his cheeks. He leaned down, and began to kiss her on the lips again, this time, his hand touching every part of her. He nuzzled down her neck, and began to kiss it. “I love you...” he whispered to her.

Upon hearing those words, Ella paused. She looked at Calvin, her heart began to feel confused because of what he said. She wished that what he said is true, and that it was meant for it. She kissed his cheek. She closed her eyes, and let herself be devoured by his passion. And through the night, they made love. She made love to him, like it was the first time that she gave her everything to someone.

She looked beside her, and saw Calvin sleeping peacefully. She smiled sadly as he watched him slumber. “Maybe tomorrow, you'll forget all about me... especially those words you told me while we were making love...” she thought. She brushed the hair from his face, and stared at him for a long time. They only met tonight, but then she have to say goodbye to him. She have to do it, for she knows where this is leading to. That night, she fell in love with him. She was not able to heed her heart, and so she must stop this madness before it kills her slowly. She have been through this a lot of time. She gave her all, body and soul, to different men, hoping she could get the love that she wanted, but in the end, she was left all by herself. “It was stupid of me to fall in love with you at first sight...” she said to herself. As much as she wanted to stay beside him, and be the first person he'll see when he wakes up, she decided against it. She have enough heartaches in the past, and she could afford another rejection. Not from a stranger that she fell in love with tonight.

She planted at kiss on his cheek, then stood up from the bed. She collected her clothes, and then dressed up. As soon as she was ready to leave, she took one last glance at him. She stared at him for a long time, wanting to remember everything about him – his face, his warmth, his touch. They will not see each other again, that's for sure, and she wanted to have a memory of a man who loved her like no other. “Goodbye...” she whispered to him. She turned her back, and left the hotel room. That night, she headed somewhere where she could think all by herself – her secret place.

--

The sun's ray entered the window, and streaked to his face. Calvin slowly opened his eyes, and found himself alone on the bed. He sat up, and looked around the room. He looked at the floor, and saw that only his clothes were left lying around. “Where is she?” he thought to herself. Calvin sighed, and shook his head. He buried his face on his palm, regretting what he have done the night before. He only met Ella last night, and something happened between them. “Stupid me... I should've drunk too much wine...” he muttered. By now, he assumes that Ella thinks that he only used him for his own pleasure, that he toyed with her and her feelings. He was not the type of guy that would jump into one night stands, but there was something about her that made him want to make love to her last night. He stood up from the bed, and began to dress up. That morning that he woke up, he have decided to look for Ella, and apologize and explain his actions the night before.
